Whether you are building a new home, upgrading service, or considering installing your own renewable energy system, it is important to communicate with us while in the planning stages.
Electric Service Guide
To help ensure quality electric service, members, contractors, builders, architects and engineers are encouraged to refer to our Electric Service Guide when planning for upgrades or modifications to existing service. The Electric Service Guide provides information about application requirements, pre-construction requirements, general construction requirements and types of service.
Beneficial and Efficient Energy Program for New Construction
It's important to consider future electrical needs during a construction project and People's Energy Cooperative is happy to work with you from the start. We can offer suggestions for implementing the latest technology and ensure you are aware of various funding avenues or rebates available.
Members who are building a new home in an established subdivision must fill out this form.
While we do our best to accommodate your construction schedule, adequate lead time is necessary for us to obtain the needed equipment. The sooner you can let us know your project requirements, the better we are able to meet your service request.
